Join us. **Job Description** We are seeking a visionary and decisive Governance Lead to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the Governance Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our organizational effectiveness. + Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive governance policies and procedures aligned with international best practices and local regulations + Lead the design and execution of risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the organization + Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for governance and compliance + Oversee the development and implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards + Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes and identify areas for improvement + Provide expert guidance and support to the Board of Directors and executive management on governance-related matters + Lead and mentor a team of governance and compliance professionals, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability + Develop and deliver training programs to enhance governance awareness and skills across the organization + Prepare and present comprehensive reports on governance performance and risk management to senior leadership and stakeholders + Stay abreast of emerging governance trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the Middle East region and globally **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field; Master's degree preferred + Minimum 10 years of experience in governance, risk management, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership in a corporate environment + In-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles, risk management frameworks, and compliance best practices + Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights + Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels + Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing governance policies and procedures + Proficiency in project management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams + Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members + Professional certifications such as Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) are highly advantageous + Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus **Additional Information** **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
