The role

As a Google Cloud - BDE, you are the interface between our sales and delivery teams, helping to find and present appropriate customer-focused solutions with Google Cloud. You provide technical advice and support to customers throughout the entire sales phase. 

 

Understand the lifecycle of GCP service offerings to optimize timing of sales activities. Work effectively with multiple stakeholders and partnerships where relevant.Knowledgeable in cloud advisory, strategy development and application modernization.  Skills to support the GCP portfolio, including Google Compute Engine, Google Cloud Storage, Digital Workspace, Google Kubernetes Engine, Data & GenAI, Data Platform Modernization.You will manage the entire sales cycle—from the first customer contact through to contract conclusion—for new customers. For existing customers, the sales cycle is initiated by the Account Manager.Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure the overall strategy and customer goals are pursued and achieved.Responsible overall for the proposal and the Statement of Work (SoW), delegating more complex content to the Pre-Sales Consultant when it pertains to specific practice areas.Provide feedback to Account Management on opportunities to shorten the sales cycle, increase revenue, and improve the company’s brand and reputation.Communicate on a peer level with operational units up to C-Level executives.
What we need to see from you

Requirements: 

Several years of professional experience as a (Technical) Account Manager or in sales of software development services.A proven network of GCP contacts.Solid understanding of GCP principles, architecture, and administration.Deep familiarity with GCP solutions (or alternatively, strong AWS experience).Ability to understand customer needs and engage on equal footing with their operational units.Strong communication and presentation skills, with confident presence.

Strong customer-service orientation, team spirit, and ability to execute.
