Position Overview Interns will work closely with the Golf Course Maintenance and Agronomy team and gain exposure to a wide range of golf course maintenance practices. This role is well-suited for students or individuals pursuing education or careers in turf management, agronomy, horticulture, or related fields.   Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $19-$21 per hour Employment Status: Full-time, seasonal, non-exempt Benefits: Eligible employees may have access to applicable seasonal benefits and employee discounts in accordance with company policies Housing: Limited on-site housing options or housing discounts may be available, subject to availability and separate agreement Key Responsibilities Perform general landscape and turf maintenance using hand tools and powered equipment Rake, maintain, and detail sand bunkers Assist with mowing, trimming, edging, and course detailing Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative materials Perform weed control and debris removal Assist with daily golf course setup and presentation Operate utility vehicles and small machinery for hauling materials and debris Perform skilled agronomic tasks based on training and experience (e.g., pruning, plugging, aeration support) Follow all safety protocols and operate equipment safely Maintain awareness of coworkers and surrounding work areas Perform other duties as assigned to support golf course operations Minimum Qualifications Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, or related experience or training preferred (approximately one month or equivalent) Valid driver’s license Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying equipment Additional Qualifications Regular and reliable attendance Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Professional demeanor in a hospitality-focused environment Program Details Duration: 12 weeks or longer Schedule: Primarily May through August (dates may be flexible to accommodate academic schedules) Focus: Structured exposure to agronomy and golf course maintenance operations at Links at Perry Cabin   Equal Employment Opportunity Links at Perry Cabin is an equal opportunity employer.
