Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Underground Electrician to join our Goldstrike Underground Electrical Team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Underground Electrical Supervisor, the Underground Electrician is responsible for the following:

Required to troubleshoot and perform all electrical repairs as required on underground and surface equipment, as well as stationary equipmentNew electrical installations as requiredPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Two (2) years underground electrical experience preferredHigh voltage experience preferredFormal electrical training and troubleshooting background preferredAbility to read complex prints and a good understanding of electrical codes preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and proven track record of being a team player requiredExemplary safety performance and attendance record requiredAbility to accomplish physical labor under all weather conditions requiredDemonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job requiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role required
