Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Goldstrike Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Open Pit Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following:

Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individualsPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous Surface Drilling/Blasting experience preferredValid Nevada drivers’ license requiredHeavy equipment operating experience preferredAbility to carry at least 50 pounds requiredExcellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills requiredDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team requiredSatisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records requiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
