As a GNC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating between customer support and R&D, focusing on feature requests and facilitating bug reporting. You will collect, analyze, and evaluate preliminary data for hardware updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to design reviews and system documentation.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate between customer support and R&D to focus on feature requests and facilitate bug reporting.Collect, analyze, and evaluate preliminary data for hardware updates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams.Contribute to design reviews and system documentation.Analyze and integrate new sensors with a focus on flight control-related sensors such as IMU, GNSS, and pressure sensors.Devise integration and sanity checking concepts.Develop, implement, and test algorithms for navigation and control systems in line with project requirements.Conduct simulation and analysis to verify GNC models and system performance under different operating conditions.Improve performance through novel sensor calibration techniques.
Essential SkillsPractical experience developing GNC designs for flight systems.Experience in writing code in C/C++ or Rust.Proficiency with Matlab and Simulink.
Additional Skills & QualificationsUAV or Robotics experience.Exceptional ability or demonstrated history of working on successful projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $96.00/hr.
