Job Description
The GMP Sanitation Technician is responsible for conducting sanitation duties as per regulatory requirements. This includes checking water temperatures and soap concentrations to maintain sanitation standards, cleaning equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.
ResponsibilitiesConduct sanitation duties according to regulatory standards.Check water temperatures and soap concentrations to ensure compliance with sanitation standards.Clean and sanitize equipment and areas within the facility.Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.Complete documentation and quality records, including batch records and out-of-specifications reports.Operate process vessels, forklifts, transfer pumps, scales, and water meters.Essential SkillsExperience in sanitization, SIP (Sterilization In Place), and documentation processes.Knowledge of food manufacturing and cosmetics GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).Proficiency in CIP (Cleaning In Place) processes.Ability to handle quality documentation and manage out-of-specification reports.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in batch record management and quality documentation.Manual dexterity and ability to perform physical tasks.Work Environment
This role is based in a cosmetics manufacturing environment with approximately 250 employees on the production floor. The work schedule includes training on the first shift, which runs from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM for three weeks, followed by transitioning to the second shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Both shifts involve 10-hour workdays and mandatory Saturdays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
