Join us! **Job Description:** This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the new Industry & Market Solutions Group (IMSG) within Global Markets Operations (GMO). The IMSG team is tasked with developing and rolling out the GMO vendor & digital strategies in line with the broader Enterprise & Global Markets business. We are looking for a seasoned GMO Relationship Manager who can help build relationships with our organization’s largest third-party service providers and engage with the most influential industry associations to support this effort. **Responsibilities:** _Relationship Management_ + Develop relationships with existing vendors in the pre-trade, trade date and post-trade landscape to better understand service model, integration points within the bank and future solution opportunities with value proposition. + Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for select vendors & internal stakeholders for market solutions related initiatives and opportunities. + Build relationships with select emerging technology vendors and fintech firms to develop a deep understanding of product offering and value proposition to Global Markets Operations _Product & Solution Adoption_ + Coordinate the assessment of products and solution offerings from select vendors and publish recommendation to stakeholders. + Connect vendors & internal stakeholders to help develop use cases. + Coordinate pilot exercises and/or proof-of-concepts on behalf of Global Markets Operations – lead engagement with Technology, Compliance and Front Office where necessary. + Partner with Global Markets Operations, Enterprise Support Partners, Front Office and Technology to drive adoption of industry-wide products and solutions. _Collaboration & Partnership_ + Connect the Enterprise – help provide transparency across markets, regions and asset classes with regard to vendor tools and third-party workflows. Find opportunities to streamline processes, deliver commercial benefits, reduce pain points & system bifurcation. + Organize executive meeting routines with vendors and internal bank leadership. + Educate internal and external stakeholders on solution opportunities. + Engage with peer firms where necessary to understand digital strategy and identify opportunities to partner on solution adoption & create industry-wide synergies. + Deliver training and education sessions as needed covering product reviews, workflow impact, industry engagement and forum actions. _Industry Advocacy & Representation_ + Represent Global Markets Operations and/or the broader Enterprise on industry forums, third party networking events where necessary; Attend vendor and/or industry workshops ( _may involve travel_ ) + Drive connection between industry focus / roadmap and our internal strategies. + Understand industry trends, regulatory landscape and impact to Global Markets Operations and our clients. Work with Global Markets Operations SMEs to identify gaps and opportunities relative to the industry. _Reporting, Data Analyses & Documentation_ + Build solution documents, white-papers, executive presentations, business & use cases, product assessments & reviews. + Develop performance metrics and other data points to measure success and opportunities for the team and broader Global Markets Operations + Support various cost and benefit analyses related to vendor platforms, services & solutions. _Artificial Intelligence_ + Support the design and delivery of an AI framework for GMO + Contribute to the ongoing development of the GMO AI strategy + Coordinate across GMO to build and maintain a repository of use cases that may be candidates for AI solutions + Contribute to the review & prioritization of candidate use cases + Assess in-house & vendor solution capabilities with a strategic lens and in consideration of candidate use cases + Where vendor solutions are to be incorporated, manage through procurement and onboarding process **Required Qualifications:** + 6-10 years of experience in the capital markets industry with knowledge of key Operations functions, trade lifecycle and various workflows. + 5 years of experience in a relationship management or similar role e.g., client or vendor-facing. + Demonstrated ability / proven history working across the organization and effectively engage outside of Operations e.g., Front Office, Technology, Compliance, Risk Management. + Able to work both independently and across a large team. + Strong storytelling & presentation skills; demonstrated ability to develop effective presentations and product assessments in previous roles. + Ability to build a rapport with & influence a broad set of stakeholders– e.g., executive level trading & sales, Technology developers, Fintech c-suite and Operations functional SMEs. + Familiarity with the capital markets operations ecosystems e.g., FMUs, CCPs and Custodians. **Preferred Qualifications** + Recent experience in a similar role in a top tier bank / broker-dealer or product development role in a large broker/dealer + Knowledge of key vendor / platforms across the industry e.g., DTCC, Euroclear, LSEG, BNY Mellon + Understanding of relevant industry regulatory frameworks e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR. + Existing network / contacts across the industry **Skills:** + Client & Vendor Relationship Management + Capital Markets Industry Knowledge + Global Markets Products & Solutions + Capital Markets Trading Lifecycle + Presentation & Written Communication + Negotiation + Collaboration + Flexible & Adaptable + Agent for Change & Innovation **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
