Global Sourcing Manager Requisition ID: 44977 Job Location(s): Tallahassee, FL, US Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment Job Function: Supply Chain and Operations Work Location Type: On-site **The Impact You'll Make** The **Global Sourcing Manager** is responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the sourcing strategies and procurement of Direct Materials Services at Danfoss. This includes leading activities with other sourcing colleagues across the globe, analysts, and project teams to secure contractual agreements to meet business needs, lead supplier simplification, execution on activities to optimize productivity, quality & fulfillment through strategic supplier relationships. This position will require a close partnership with Operations, Engineering and Corporate functions to deliver upon the following. This is an **onsite** position at our Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FL. **What You’ll Be Doing** + Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to meet cost objectives, provide cost alternatives, and support Buy/Make decisions through detailed cost analysis modeling + Lead direct sourcing efforts for engineered casting parts, plastic parts, and machined components while proactively identifying new suppliers to enhance service, delivery, and overall value + Drive the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials and services, leveraging Danfoss’ consolidated spend, standardization, and best industry practices + Lead and manage cross-functional teams, guiding strategy alignment discussions and implementing sourcing processes and policies across multiple categories and locations + Manage all aspects of supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, agreement execution, and performance management to ensure optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) + Provide timely feedback and resolution of quality or component issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective/Preventative Actions (CAPA), ensuring containment and long-term solutions + Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements, and generate detailed reports on cost savings, price changes, and sourcing performance metrics **What We're Looking For** **Education and/or Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance + Minimum of 10 years solid strategic sourcing, supply chain or commercial experience including 6 years managing one/several commodity independently + Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans within the strategic sourcing process across multiple business units and global locations + Skilled in data-driven, fact-based negotiations that deliver measurable value and long-term supplier partnerships + Expertise in end-to-end contract development, negotiation, and supplier relationship management + Strong business and financial acumen with a demonstrated track record of leading teams, setting strategic direction, and driving organizational change + Exceptional leadership skills with a global mindset and deep understanding of the market forces affecting both internal operations and supplier ecosystems **Preferred Qualifications:** + C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. and/or PMP certification is a plu + Technology Savvy with a strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically Excel, power BI **What You'll Get from Us** We are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment: + Bonus system + Paid vacation + Flexible working hour + Pension plan + Personal insurance + Opportunity to join Employee Resource Groups + State of the art virtual work environment + Employee Referral Program This list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
