**Job Description Summary**
The Global Services Technical Instructor role is responsible for delivering, and supporting the analysis, design, and development of technical learning of medical devices and systems in a highly regulated industry. The qualified individual will apply engineering and educational fundamentals toward developing expertise in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for service personnel. The instructor will ensure all internal and external customer needs are met and that students are prepared, supported and empowered to serve our customers safely and effectively.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Work integrally with associated Product Engineering, Service Methods, and Field Service teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers. This will include select duties as content developer, trainer, and registrar.
+ Use/Develop knowledge of PET service, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
+ Develop Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of best practices and gain awareness of the competition and the factors that differentiate GEHC Products in the market.
+ Uses sound engineering judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree and at least three years experience in the field or in an engineering role OR Associate’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
+ Recognized service expertise in the PET modality.
+ Demonstrated understanding of Engineering & Applied Science Fundamentals.
+ Fluent communication in English.
+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Military, Associate or Bachelor Level Education in a related field.
+ Field Service or Modality Engineering experience.
+ Experience with PET System Maintenance & Repair procedures.
+ Experience with virtual training and learning.
+ Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated ability to receive and convey engineering and mechanical details.
+ Able to read & follow written work instructions using basic instruments and tools.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create varied learning styles for all students.
+ Comfortable relating to persons of widely diverse cultures and backgrounds.
+ Team player, with a positive attitude and a passion for creativity.
+ Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment.
