Position Title: Global Scheduling & Supply Planning Lead – Repair & Maintenance

Location: Houston, TX

Position Overview

Weatherford is seeking a strategic and experienced Global Scheduling & Supply Planning Lead to oversee and optimize scheduling and supply planning functions across our global Repair and Maintenance operations. This role ensures alignment between local execution teams and corporate supply chain strategy, driving standardization, governance, and performance management across all branches and regions.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Strategy

Lead global scheduling and supply planning processes specific to Repair and Maintenance environments. Govern Global Master Scheduling procedures and ensure branch-level compliance. Monitor global schedule attainment, delivery indicators, and capacity vs. workload metrics. Drive ERP/MRP standardization and system enhancements (JDE/Oracle/Atlas). Define and maintain global standards, KPIs, dashboards, and governance frameworks. Act as the global SME for scheduling and supply planning.

Leadership & Communication

Provide coaching and training to schedulers, planners, and master schedulers. Lead change management initiatives and adoption of new tools/processes. Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Compliance & Quality

Uphold Weatherford’s standards for safety, security, and environmental protection. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical practices. Promote continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.

Financial & People Development

Manage costs within approved budgets and financial policies. Support talent development through performance management and succession planning. Collaborate with HR and Training to attract and retain top talent.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field. 10+ years of experience in supply chain/materials planning, with 3–5 years in a global leadership role. Strong knowledge of MRP/DRP, scheduling, and inventory planning. Experience with ERP systems (JDE, Oracle, SAP) and reporting tools (Power BI). Proven success in governance, process standardization, and performance management. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Experience in scheduling within a Repair and Maintenance environment.

Preferred

Master’s degree and APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certification. Background in oil and gas industry.
