Global Sales Manager Beijing

Strategic Account Leadership

• Position Hyatt as a preferred global partner within the business partners.

• Strengthen relationships with the leadership, decision makers, influencers in the managed accounts.

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Corporate, MICE, Leisure business in Beijing, as well as the north China region.

• Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans (SAP) aligned with Hyatt’s broader commercial strategy.

• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Revenue Growth Commercial Performance

• Support and add value to creation and implementation of strategic action plans for a portfolio of accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals

• Regional business development in North China (outside of Beijing) for all segments.

• Experience managing complex, high-volume workloads while supporting multiple leaders with competing and time-sensitive needs

• Effectively communicate and bring Hyatt’s story to life

• Champion new and need hotels and other company initiatives and priorities

• Resourcefully engage all areas of the organization to find collaboration opportunities, experiment, and secure the sale

• Participate in sales calls and business travel as needed, including customer appointments, quarterly business reviews, tradeshow / industry event participation, Fam Trips and internal meetings as appropriate

• Support all aspects of the annual corporate travel RFP process

• Possess a strong customer service mind-set

• Engage with hotel sales teams, operators, and owners to build rapport and support our shared sales goals

• Stay current on market conditions, forecasts, and trends and translate to action with proactive measures to drive sales

• Maintain a high level of productivity while working independently in a fast-paced and relatively autonomous environment

• Exhibit solid written and verbal communication skills with an ability to stay nimble and creative

• Ability to influence and engage diverse audiences in various settings

• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while delivering timely, high-quality results

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotels sales department, OR at least 1 years of experience in global sales manager role with proven track record

• Experience with Corporate Business Travel/Hospitality Industry

• Strong understanding of Group/MICE Segment

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use sales data and market insights to inform strategy

• Proficient within full MS Office Suite

• Flexibility to travel as needed to support client engagement and business development.

Experience Preferred:

• Working understanding/experience with account development with North China regional preferred, incl. Shandong, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongo.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage

• Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices

• Experience with Cognos, Thoughtspot, Agency360, Reserve, SynXis, RMT
