About the job

We are seeking a candidate for the role of Global Quality, Health & Safety Manager in BU GPHE, with the purpose of leading and advancing our quality, health, and safety strategy, activities, projects, and processes to enhance our customer offerings.

Within the BU GPHE (Gasketed Plated Heat Exchangers) with a footprint of 8 factories, you will contribute to develop, Quality, Health and Safety Strategy and Policies, to build Q,H&S mindset and competences in alignment with Alfa Laval Q, H&S Strategy/Policies.

You will also drive, promote and coordinate activities/projects and standardization, promote and manage continuous improvement projects/activities within Q,H&S.

Key responsibilities for this role will be as per the areas below:  

Team Leadership & Global Coordination

Lead a team of four across H&S, Global Claims, and Corporate Standards. Coordinate Q & H&S activities across factories and sites. Represent management on Q & H&S topics, internally and externally. Drive continuous improvement by coaching problem-solving and tracking progress.

Quality Structure Development

Ensure compliance with market/customer standards (ASME, Nuclear, etc.). Manage quality processes and KPIs. Oversee training and competence development. Maintain SOPs and working instructions

 Health & Safety Enhancement

Develop and implement safety standards per Alfa Laval’s program. Promote safe working practices and a safety-first mindset. Share best practices and deploy prevention tools. Support line management in injury and occupational disease prevention

What you know

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field combined with a proven track record of working experience within Quality and Health & Safety. We trust you have been working in an international environment and have extensive experience in bringing quality improvements in an industrial / manufacturing environment. Ideally, you’ve held managerial or functional leadership roles in a matrix organization. Excellent written and spoken English is essential for success in this global role.
