Chemours is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our growing Procurement Center of Excellence (COE) team. This position will be available at the AP-IN-Mumbai-Andheri, Gala Impecca, 1st Floor, Opposite Sangam Big Cinema, Andheri Kurla Road, Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai - 400060 and report directly to the Procurement Manager I.

The primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Service & Supplier Leadership, Process Management and Execution

Buyer Support & Contract management

Creation / management of vendor contracts, Governance of teams involved in supporting buyers in procurement back-end operations.

Process design, Compliance, Governance of Outsourcing partner and collaboration with stakeholders

Recovery and Supplier finance - Design, own and define roadmap in line with Organizational strategy

Governance of 3rd party auditors providing audit services for Chemours (Revenew, GPA)

Collaboration with internal stakeholders like Finance, Treasury, Procurement to define an annual roadmap for recovery reviews and vendors to be moved into supplier finance program.

Collaborate with buyers and Amex/ Citi and Treasury to onboard vendor into supplier finance program

Track savings in appropriate tool

Relationship Management

Developing strong relationships with Chemours leaders, Suppliers, process owners (e.g., Procurement, T&E, Invoice, Payment, Accounting, Freight) and the BPO Supplier’s key personnel

Planning and Project Management

Collaborate with global product owners, other stakeholders in Chemours and the Supplier to identify process improvement opportunities across end-to-end processes, including automation and other simplification strategies.

Work as Execution lead for critical projects and projects that span across teams.

Leadership

Leading functional governance for the above-mentioned Procurement Operations areas such as Service Reviews, Incident Action / Root Cause Analysis Review Meetings.

Use influence skills to help others see alternative views or approaches.

Change Management

Proactively communicate to stakeholders regarding performance, including significant accomplishments, changes in policies, risks, planned/unplanned outages, etc for their area

Assess relevant training needs, develop training materials and ensure all stakeholders are sufficiently trained in internal control requirements, design and ownership

The following is required for this role:

Graduation/ Post Graduation in Procurement or related areas like supply chain, finance or accounting

Expertise in Procurement back-end operations involving contract management, Purchase order management, Contract compliance audit is mandatory

10-15 years of experience with at 7-8 years in leadership role managing a team effectively

Knowledge of SAP is a must

Knowledge of Ariba & Sirion is required

Expertise in managing external shared service providers (BPO) and governing operations

Experience in MS excel and Power BI

Senior stakeholder management

Ability to independently lead discussions with senior leaders , share the right feedback and guide teams for impactful collaboration.

Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal) in English

Above average experience in usage of MS excel, Power BI

The following is preferred for this role:

Six sigma/ lean certification will be an added advantage

Knowledge of tools like Dev Ops and Power app will be useful

Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (like finance, supply chain, compliance, banks)
