YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Define, lead and execute the product strategy for connected vehicle & mobile features across all product lines. This involves an advanced understanding of market trends, customer needs/insights, and technical feasibility to create and launch market leading products.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Define, organize and prioritize diverse customer needs across all product lines in close collaboration with vehicle product strategy / product development teams.
Work closely with engineering, design, digital, marketing and sales teams to bring connectivity solutions to market; from concept to launch.
Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and seven-year roadmap for connected vehicle solutions, aligning them with business objectives to strengthen the connectivity value proposition on all products.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the latest connected vehicle technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Customer Insights: Gather, manage and analyze customer feedback and lead qualitative/quantitative research initiatives to understand user needs and provide insight-driven strategic recommendations.
Product Development: Manage product development lifecycle and deliverables, from ideation and requirements definition to launch and post-launch optimization.
Product Performance Monitoring: Track key product performance indicators, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, option package design and volume/mix planning to drive product adoption. Communicate product positioning, features and benefits to internal and external audiences such as our marketing and sales teams, creative agencies, media, dealers and consumers to strengthen product messaging (in collaboration with the digital team).
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
B.A. in marketing or engineering
Experience in software/technology product management
Expertise using analytics and IoT data to drive strateigc decision making
Highly collaborative with a strong ability to manage diverse cross functional projects
Experience in the area of market research and/or product planning; preferably in the automotive or powersports industries.
Minimum 5 years experience
Bilingualism in French and English in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec, or unilingual English on a daily basis.
Solid planning, leadership, self-initiative, analytical and innovation skills
Customer driven, strategy focused
Ability to understand and explain vehicle-related technical features
Passionate about motorized sports and/or riding
This position is based in Quebec and requires occasional worldwide travel.
