Global Procurement Buyer - Logistics
Overview PepisCo is looking for a Global Procurement Buyer – Logistic role to lead and optimize procurement activities across a defined logistics scope in Europe. This includes white pallets, 3PL warehousing, repacking, and transportation services. The role is pivotal in delivering long-term value and efficiency through strategic sourcing, data-driven decision-making, and strong cross-functional collaboration. How do we work and what do we offer? Ideally we are looking for someone based in Warsaw but this role is remote. We would ask this person to travel to internal stakeholders from time to time. Responsibilities What are your daily tasks? Procurement Strategy Development Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies in alignment with business needs. Analyze the current sourcing footprint and identify opportunities for improvement. Collect and analyze detailed spend data to generate actionable insights. Perform market intelligence and benchmarking within the logistics category and relevant business units. Supplier Selection & Tender Management Design and manage end-to-end tender processes (RFX). Analyze supplier proposals, shortlist candidates, and lead or co-lead supplier negotiations. Consolidate final sourcing scenarios for internal stakeholder review and decision-making. Contracting & Compliance Review and assess existing contracts for potential updates or renegotiations. Negotiate updated terms based on RFX outcomes in collaboration with legal, finance, and business partners. Ensure ongoing contract compliance, documentation, and supplier information management. Cost Management & Value Delivery Provide forecasts for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly financial updates. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to achieving productivity and cash improvement targets. Monitor and control total cost of ownership across the logistics category. Qualifications For this role we would require: 5 years of experience in Procurement within FMCG Proficienty in English. Polish or Turkish is a plus Univerity degree Experience working across multiple countries and in complex, multicultural environments. Strong analytical skills, with ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets to support strategic decision-making. Strong internal customer management skills to cooperate with stakeholders and suppliers. Knowledge of procurement tools would be an asset. Ability to work in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments, remaining responsive and adaptable
