What You'll Do

To further support the growth and development of BCG’s business marketing capabilities, we are looking for a Global Strategic Alliances Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our strategic alliances marketing engagements. Strategic alliances are a key part of continuing to progress the way the firm meets the ever-evolving needs of clients and markets. You will be working as part of the Global Practices Marketing, BCG X Marketing, and Global Alliances teams helping to design and drive joint alliance marketing programs, building awareness of alliance capabilities and value propositions, as well as support the planning and execution of our event portfolio of strategic technology and services partners. You will be instrumental in defining and integrating a cross-firm marketing strategy, building plans and executing campaigns across a mix of digital marketing, events, social media, case studies, thought leadership, as well as internal and external communications.


We are looking for a strong candidate with a unique mix of executive-level content development, communication, consultative / analytics, project management, and organization skills, as well as deep experience working successfully in BCG’s global and virtual matrixed environment.

committed agent of change is mission critical. Finally, an enthusiastic attitude and eagerness to test, learn, and adapt in unlocking potential in projects, programs, and people will be useful on a daily basis.

Content & Messaging: Guide BCG Alliance teams on the development of value-maximizing ‘1+1=3’ offering messaging to solve our clients’ expanding needs, focusing on transformation at scale.Be able to define messaging that supports critical and dependent work streams, such as Analyst Relations, Public Relations, and digital leadership stakeholders to drive programmatic engagement. Provide direction and oversight as needed.Coordinate with internal and external colleagues to create and curate to ensure marketing materials are up to date and capture/codify cross-portfolio learnings to scale.Jointly develop leading case studies and thought leadership pieces to showcase alliance success and benefits.Events and SATT: Support the planning and development of BCG’s presence and priority partnership marketing events, including the strategic evaluation of priority events, contract evaluation and negotiation, interfacing with BCG Events Center of Excellence to deliver best in class events.Support activation and integration of strategic alliances into BCG’s larger events portfolio.Amplification: Building from the external marketing messaging, create and execute integrated campaigns that support BCG as a leader in the digital and technology consulting market.Relationship Management: Build deep relationships with BCG leaders, Alliance account team, BCG marketing teams, and key external marketing partners within our alliances portfolio to plan and execute partnership activations.Strategic Planning & Coordination: Ensure effective and timely communication and coordination of the alliance marketing plans, activities, and campaign execution results to key stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

6-8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree preferredExcellent conceptual skills and ability to package complex materialsProven experience in marketing or consulting for leading technology service providers, consulting firms, software, hardware or cloud solutions cross-geography, industry and market segment supporting multiple partner typesWide-ranging network of relationships in major technology companies a plusPrevious partner marketing role, partner management role, or B2B marketing role at another consulting firm or leading technology service provider a plusDeep analytical skills and a sense for identifying sharp business insightsLeadership and complex program management skills, ability to get other team members on-board with recommendationsStrong content development, written, and oral presentation skills. You are clear, concise, and understand how to adapt communications both written and verbal depending on who your audience isWell-honed interpersonal skills, empatheticResults-driven, operates well under pressure, and is fearless in setting and managing expectationsComfortable and confident working in a virtual and distributed team with individuals at all organizational levels across global time zones and culturesFluent in English

Who You'll Work With

You will be working as part of the Global Practices and BCG X Marketing teams led by the Global Alliances Marketing & BCG X Marketing Senior Director and championed by BCG’s Chief Marketing Officer. You will work closely with our Global Alliances team, BCG X Marketing team, ONE Marketing & Communications team and other PA Marketing and leadership teams to bring our go to marketing plan to life.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role begins at $102,000 in our lowest cost US region and goes up to $127,000 in our highest cost US region. Your recruiting contact can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
