The role is composed by two main dimensions:

 

Global Payroll Standards and Service Alignment: This role is a key influencer for the current and future Global Payroll Offer. In conjunction with management and as part of the Global Payroll, adapt in country/region specifics concepts into global ones and when applicable, vice versa.  Bringing strategies/approach to harmonize elements of the offer into consistent services. Ensure ways to reduce complexities and take all opportunities to harmonize content, terminology and references across countries and among the different business units. Bring Subject Matter Expertise to ensure that services are delivered consistently across a global scope of international payroll providers. The role is to align and formalize payroll and related services by means of policy, process and procedure.

 

Legislative Compliance: To act as an expert related to payroll legislative updates, ensuring that the business and the clients are aware of legal changes affecting payroll and the impacts on the service, process, partners, ADP and clients. Aswell as the solution defined is in line with the service offer.

 

Responsibilities

The Global Payroll Standards and Service Alignment

Define service standards, templates and processes to apply across the Network. Create opportunities to increase services (existing and to be determined) to be offered to the different client segments seeking opportunities for business growth. Package them into a logical group of services. Present reasoned arguments to support business initiatives and related investments (business case) and presenting them in a formalized and synthesized way. Raising business impacts (taking into consideration the specifications) related to these services. Analysis of services offered and provided to client to help in determination of standards. Take in consideration the “network” of payroll subcontracting vendors (Streamline Network) when contributing to the definition of the payroll standards in order to ensure that the “network” is aligned and able to deliver to the global standard. Create a simple model for payroll offer that covers the complexity of the payroll in all the regions and satisfy the needs of the different segments of clients. Subject Matter experts on the payroll process/practices for the countries assigned Formulate internal criteria/principles for the different services in the Service Definition. Simplify the structure of additional services in order to make them part of the payroll offer. Provide insights (bring information and data to support decision) and identify key costs points to deliver services and influence pricing development for additional services (AOS). Actively looks at the global payroll model to identify potentials standardizations and/or defined methodology to payroll activities. Create and maintain the standard templates around partner documentation. Point of contact for requests and questions around global payroll concepts. Support on client escalations when required as an expert. Identify and work with the Network Operations Team to ensure alignment Determine the critical elements around service coverage to be considered as part of the Due Diligence & Acquisition processes as well as the showstoppers to collaborate with the potential partner or accept a new payroll platform. Define the standards in regards process and accepting criteria around service coverage for the onboarding of a new partner or new payroll platform. Identify best practices in the different regions in order to implement them cross regions improving the client experience and level of service offered. Support Network team during negotiations with partners providing the required analysis and arguments to defend the company position. Service Alignment Explain to partners and potential partners the expectation around the service definition. If gaps are identified, negotiate the service alignment. Work in collaboration with Executive Relations to align partner and negotiate add-on prices (if necessary). Document all agreements and ensure understanding for all different parties which is the scope of service, how is it delivered, roles and responsibilities between local partner and local client. Support the Network Team with SME knowledge for service related cases. Take part in projects for service simplification for the designated region to support better client experience .

 

Legislative Compliance

 

Ensuring Partner´s compliance with new local payroll legislation Central reference and contact point for Streamline countries Works in alignment with internal legislation team across ADP direct service countries Communicates with related groups through written and orally as subject matter expert Ensure local partners follow the same standard process Assess potential impacts and monitors the accomplishment of the solution delivery plan Assess any potential significant impacts & risks that may affect local payroll services Leads the execution of the solution delivery plan: manages scheduling, committee meetings, follow-up communications with contributor teams Depending on the level of impact, prepares a first assessment with the aim of handover the lead of the execution to Business Continuity team Guarantee proper communication to HQ clients Issue bulletins to clients HQ to explain the law and impacts, highlighting the key information such as the actions to be performed by their subsidiaries based on the information provided Supervises that external bulletins are storing correctly in Streamline central tool Keeps updated stakeholders and contributors and gathers the required approvals Coordinates the publication in the internal & external sites in a timely fashion to the business Services related with Insightful Expertise delivery of partner documentation Tracks and keeps updated specific reports conjointly with other ADP teams Proactively seeks out improvements in effectiveness and excellence the service delivery Creates guidelines, FAQs and support material about legislative updates SME for internal clients for the questions related to this matter

 

Education & Experience:

 

Bachelor's degree Proficient in MS Office Suite Experience in payroll and/or HR

 

Skills:

Strong English written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail Experience in working in an International environment and/or with cross-cultural sensitivity Language skills is a bonus
