Job Title: Global Operational Excellence Lead
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Remote with travel up to 30% international
Salary Range: $116,000 to $146,000/year plus 7% bonus
Overview:
Global Medical Device Company is seeking a strategic Operational Excellence Lead to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Operational Excellence across global manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead global operational excellence strategy by driving the implementation of OpEx strategy across all manufacturing sites
+ Develop KPI frameworks, align goals with senior leadership and guide teams to improve performance
+ Build and maintain a culture of continuous improvement by delivering training, standardizing processes, and deploy Lean Six Sigma and other methodologies to evaluate operational maturity
+ Evaluate factory maturity levels, identify waste and process variability
+ Implement improved systems and tools
+ Provide regular reports to leadership on progress toward world-class operations
+ Deliver education and awareness programs that reinforce operational excellence principles.
+ Develop systems, strategies, and tools that raise cost efficiency, customer service, and associate engagement.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate operational risks.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor of Science required, Master of Science or Business preferred
+ Min of 8 years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or similar field
+ 5+ years of GMP experience preferably in the medical device industry
+ Experience teaching continuous improvement and problem solving methodologies for multiple manufacturing/production sites
+ Proven ability to lead large scale Operational Excellence initiatives.
+ Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required.
+ Training in Lean or other Continuous Improvement methodologies required.
+ Change management experience required.
