Global Markets Advisor – IR and FX Derivatives – Sponsor Fund

In this role, you will provide a markets-based suite of risk management solutions through derivative products to BMO Capital Market’s existing sponsor fund clients and seek to expand our offering to a broader client base. This role is client facing with primary sales focus on the marketing of Interest Rate (“IR”) and/or Foreign Exchange (“FX”) risk management solutions. This role requires a strong sales background, deep understanding of Fund level hedging needs, deal structure, and the ability to balance tactical execution with strategic planning to drive measurable results. Candidate will partner closely with internal stakeholders across Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Legal, and Risk to build on our platform to better align with the Bank’s broader goals for this important client base. **Key Responsibilities:** + Revenue generation through delivery of FX and/or IR solutions to BMO’s Private Equity Fund client base + Track and analyze key sales performance and coverage activity metrics, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement. Maintain opportunity pipelines through various CRM tools + Maintain client and internal relationships through in person interactions + Partner with bankers, portfolio managers, legal, onboarding, credit and risk colleagues to ensure seamless client experience and compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures + Work closely with bankers to align sales efforts with broader business strategies + Continuously customize sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness + Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to guide sales strategy and decision-making + Create and maintain pitch and marketing materials + Provide ongoing training, development, and support to partners across the firm and junior team members to enhance skills and capabilities. + Consider risk, internal controls and compliance as part of day-to-day accountabilities and adhere to policies and procedures **Qualifications:** + Typically, between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree + **Experience with marketing of IR and/or FX solutions for corporate/Private Equity clients, including the use of options, and deal contingent hedging** + Demonstrated ability of success in a sales role + Ability to educate and explain complex products to internal stakeholders and external clients with varying backgrounds + Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis to track and manage sales performance + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset + Thorough knowledge of capital markets, pricing, and sales/trading/hedging strategies for IR and/or FX + Understanding CVA, FVA and XVA and its implications when pricing deals + Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills + Strong understanding of relevant regulatory and financial concepts + Advanced deal execution and/or project management skills - ability to manage more than one client / major initiative + Familiarity with fund structure, and common regulatory and ISDA / CSA structures for this client base + Uses analytical skills and applies appropriate technical concepts and completes/leads consistent and reliable technical and financial reports/analyses to support client deliverables **Salary:** The Salary for this role located in New York, NY is $250,000 - $275,000 USD **Salary:** **Pay Type:** Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
