Job Posting: Global Logistics Suppliers Partnership Manager
We are looking for a Global Logistics Suppliers Partnership Manager who is collaborative, strategic, and solutions-oriented to join our Global Logistics team, based at our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing strategic relationships with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) worldwide. You are going to ensure the effectiveness and robustness of our supplier network, supporting UCB’s ambitions through strong governance, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with a diverse team across Global Distribution, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality, as well as external partners including 3PLs, 4PLs, carriers, and brokers. You are going to be the bridge between internal stakeholders and external service providers, fostering a culture of partnership and excellence.
What you will doYou will build and sustain strategic partnerships with global logistics suppliers.You will be responsible for leading business reviews and driving performance improvements with LSPs.You will manage supplier onboarding, tendering, and compliance activities.You will coordinate cross-functional logistics projects and support new product launches.You will monitor supplier KPIs, anticipate risks, and implement mitigation plans.You will champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; Six Sigma/Lean/APICS certification is a plus.You bring at least 3 years’ experience in Pharma, Medical Devices, or FMCG, and 5 years in logistics.You demonstrate fluency in English (French and other languages are a plus).You excel at stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.You are skilled in risk assessment, business acumen, and supply chain processes.You are proficient with IT systems (TrackWise, SAP, MS Office) and thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
