This role is office-based at our Uppsala, Sweden site. You will have the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. Some international travel may be required – up to 25% of working time, including overnight stays
What will you do?
Lead the development and implementation of product/portfolio strategies for the Systems (Hardware and Software) portfolio across the entire product lifecycleBoost the NPV of the new product development pipeline by driving high-value projects and improving processes to expedite product market entryCoordinate the Systems product marketing team to ensure flawless execution of portfolio and marketing strategiesCollaborate closely with Global and Regional Marketing, Commercial Organizations, and R&D to implement portfolio initiatives for accelerated growthSupport business decisions with objective data by including market, customer, and competitive research, performing financial analysis, and bringing to bear internal expertiseDevelop leading data indicators to forecast future business performanceIntegrate developments in the clinical, technical, and scientific fields and leverage how they impact the portfolio roadmapCoordinate lifecycle management activities to improve impactDevelop future business leaders for the company
Who we are looking for:
Multiple years of product management experience is required, from IVD, medical devices or life sciencesSeveral years of people leadership and development experience, with marketing leadership experience preferredA Bachelor's degree is required; A Master's degree in Marketing or an MBA or equivalent experience is strongly preferredProven success in building impactful teams in a matrix environmentDemonstrated success in orchestrating new product development from inception to impactful launchesDemonstrated ability to develop actionable, multi-generational global portfolio strategiesStrong analytical and qualitative skills, with the ability to synthesize customer insights and data into comprehensive strategiesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in EnglishInternational experience and cultural awareness are requiredRepresent Thermo Fisher values – Integrity, Intensity, Involvement, and Innovation.
