The aimed modernization of Sanofi will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.

Currently, Sanofi has the most robust pipeline and forthcoming product launches in the company’s history. The GTMC organization is charged with delivering best-in-class capabilities to bring speed and increased value to commercial operations. It will refine priorities across products, markets, and the pipeline through dynamic resources allocation and efficiencies. Silos between business units and duplicative and overlapping resources will be replaced with standardized processes and tools. Operating with a One Sanofi mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, GTMC will accelerate and improve key capabilities to do more with less and facilitate the best-informed strategic decision making across the organization.

The GTMC organization aims to:

Centralize Go-to-Market operational tasks across GBUs

Standardize best in class capabilities, strengthen global support, and implement a better vertical reporting structure within GTMC from local to global

Define ways of working, bringing clarity on the interactions across GBUs, Digital, and Commercial executional support teams from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency

Global Lead - MRCI Research Library, will be responsible for supporting strategic secondary insight gathering, establishing best practice and leading the overall direction of the MRCI Research Library and its support to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Lead Research Library activities by providing support of clientsBe the subject matter expert on all resources across the libraryLevarage an optimized approach to business support, by meeting and exceeding business needsProvide comprehensive support to address key business questions posed to the MRCI library, in a timely and efficient mannerResearch critical business questions across a broad range of disease areas and development phases; deliver accurate high-quality research results, including competitor and market overviews, drug pipeline landscapes and diseases assessmentsProvide high-level of research and insights in support of business go/no-go decisionsDemonstrate a high-level of confidence in research while operating autonomouslyCollaborate with leadership and clients in Insights and Analytics  group to identify research needs and provide relevant intelligenceIdentify opportunities in new areas of research support by monitoring therapeutic areas and industry developmentsLead Research Library efforts in providing industry news and developments important to Sanofi and produce  internal newslettersBe an integral member of the Research Library team to establish and share best practices and work to continuously improve research processesLeverage AI tools to share and maintain resourcesUtilize project management database to manage and record workloadEvaluate information resources using subject matter expertise expert knowledge of value to the company’s research needs

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree RequiredMinimum of 7 years in an information research settingDeep knowledge of industry and multiple disease areasComfortable working in a matrix organisationProactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA/MPH/Master Degree in Library  & Information Science10+ years in a pharmaceutical or life sciences, corporate environment

 

Skills and Competencies:

Experience with vendor-side CI firm and/or consulting firm strongly preferredProduct launch experience strongly preferredExperience in adjacent functions (NPP, marketing, value & access) a plusDemonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balance competing priorities, and ensure high qualityEffectively influence in a highly matrixed environmentEffectively and confidently communicate to various audiences, including senior leadershipSynthesize complex ideas to simpleFocused on implications and pull through into brand implications (not just a summary of the “what”)Strong learning agility and high degree of curiosityStrong focus on detail, accuracy, and ability to solve problems through analytical reasoningStrong work ethic and personal motivationAbility to think strategically in an ambiguous environment
