Global Lead Lifecycle and Web Experience, Amazon Attraction, Influence, and Marketing
Description Amazon is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented senior manager to lead our global Journey Orchestration team for both corporate and hourly hiring. This leader will own the vision and execution for how Amazon leverages its owned channels to deliver personalized, automated candidate experiences at global scale. In this role, you will define the owned-channel technology roadmap and architect sophisticated systems that connect candidates to the right opportunities through intelligent, data-driven journeys. You’ll bring deep functional expertise across email, SMS, notifications, and web experience, combined with technical expertise in modern martech stacks (CRMs, CDPs, marketing automation, personalization engines, and content platforms). You will own the Journey Orchestration program from end-to-end including strategy, deployment, measurement and optimization with a strong focus on rigorous analytical thinking and high velocity experimentation to drive continuous improvement throughout the hiring funnel. Leading high-performing global teams, you’ll collaborate closely with science, product, and engineering partners to design intelligent, data-driven candidate journeys that dynamically adapt to behavior patterns and evolving hiring needs. The ideal candidate blends deep B2B marketing expertise with hands-on martech implementation experience. By pairing lifecycle marketing and web strategy with technical fluency across CRMs, CDPs, marketing automation, and personalization tools, you’ll create personalized, scalable experiences that serve both high-volume hiring and specialized technical recruitment (e.g., SDEs and AI researchers). Key job responsibilities • End-to-End Candidate Journey Leadership: Lead Amazon’s lifecycle marketing and web experience teams, ensuring channel strategies work in concert to create cohesive, personalized candidate journeys across email, SMS, push, web, and beyond. • Journey Architecture: Design and continuously optimize cross-channel journeys leveraging behavioral triggers, segmentation, and advanced personalization to seamlessly connect candidates with relevant roles. • MarTech Ecosystem Development: Define and evolve the integration of enterprise marketing platforms (CRM, CDP, CMS, marketing automation) to enable sophisticated orchestration, testing, and measurement. • Advanced Personalization: Use first-party data, predictive models, and intent signals to deliver hyper-relevant content and job recommendations at scale. • Enterprise Scalability: Develop frameworks and workflows that support millions of global candidates with operational efficiency while maintaining personalized experiences. • Data-Driven Optimization: Establish robust measurement frameworks for engagement, conversion, and hiring velocity. Lead sophisticated testing programs to refine targeting and journey performance. • Strategic Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale high-performing global teams across lifecycle marketing, web experience, and social media—driving both innovation and consistent weekly execution. • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with product, data science, engineering, and recruiting partners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, evolving Amazon’s automated hiring ecosystem. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience - Experience in online marketing channels such as social media marketing, display advertising, and search engine marketing. - Extensive experience defining and implementing marketing technology solutions. - Extensive experience driving successful initiatives across lifecycle marketing, web experience and social media. Preferred Qualifications - Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners - Experience conducting research on a global scale - Experience in recruitment marketing or talent attraction. - Expertise with intent data platforms, account-based marketing tools, and predictive analytics solutions. Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering and data science teams on system design. - Experience driving demand and managing a customer funnel across multiple channels. The base pay for this position ranges from $168,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
