Job Description

The OESL IT department is newly conceived and being built now! With this pioneering effort, OESL IT will be flexible, fast, and forward-thinking. Our IT team will become a strategic advisory partner, strengthening digital capabilities and driving business success.

In your role as Global IT Team Lead Cybersecurity Consulting & Operations you will work in a dynamic environment and modernize and optimize the OESL Cybersecurity framework, system landscape and service provider portfolio with us. The role handles the relationship towards our business customers as well as to our internal and external suppliers for all Cybersecurity related topics. You will be an integral part of the OESL Cybersecurity team, with responsibility for approximately 10+ FTEs.

Your responsibilities:

General responsibilities

Responsible for managing our global OESL's Cybersecurity team within the working area Operations Infrastructure, Cloud and Application SecurityEnsuring seamless operational support for all required services across all global sites and user groupsEngaging internal and external support teams for covering project and operational needsContributing to the preparation of the relevant Cybersecurity strategy derived from the overall OESL Business and IT strategyPreparing budget plans and forecasts according to financial perimetersDeveloping qualification plans for you and your team members according to business and IT needs as well as initiating the measures mutually aligned

Operations | System architecture & Engineering

Establishing generic system architecture principlesCollaborating with vendors and external service providers to ensure reliable and cybersecurity proven technical conceptsAssessing the adaptions for existing and future system landscapes on premise and in cloud as well as improving system designs

Operations | Security assessments

Defining Cybersecurity standards assessing security aspects within the context of project and operation supportCollaborating with vendors and external service providers to conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments of technical conceptsSupporting central and local departments and teams to optimize compute, storage, backup & recovery and cloud operations across the organization

Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; Master’s preferredSeveral years of experience in IT infrastructure (client, server, virtualization, storage, backup&recoveryOS, data center and cloud environment), and/or cybersecurityProven expertise in related work processesStrong skills in vendor management and experience in managing outsourced operationsStrategic view on working closely together with best-of-breed service providers for this working areaStrong leadership and collaboration skills to manage global teamsExcellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on governance aspectsLeadership experience managing cross-functional teams and infrastructure projects
