What You'll Do
As Software Engineer Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for design, development and technical support of BCG's global Mobility applications. You will work with a team of internal and external developers, as well as a cross-functional team consisting of Project Managers, Product owners, Business Analysts, and others to provide high quality applications which respond to and meet the business needs of the entire BCG organization. You will be expected to participate in hands-on development activities as well as providing technical guidance and oversight of development activities to successfully execute projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Frontend Development:
Design and develop user interfaces using Angular 16.
Implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS for seamless user experiences.
Backend Development:
Build and maintain server-side functionality using .NET 8.
Integrate and manage Document DB and Sql Server for data storage and retrieval.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with
business objectives.
Collaborate effectively with team members, chapter leads, and cross-functional teams.
CI/CD and Monitoring:
Use GitHub CI/CD for version control and automated deployment pipelines.
Implement deployment pipelines with Octopus Deploy and monitor application performance using Datadog.
Team Collaboration:
Maintain clear communication with peers and ensure timely delivery of features.What You'll Bring
College degree and bring 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus
on Angular, .NET Core, Document DB, and Sql Server. You have a proven ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance applications and manage complex data systems. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a passion for delivering impactful solutions are essential.
Experience/Knowledge
Proficiency in Angular 16, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON and responsive design principles.
Hands-on experience with .NET 8 for backend development.
Strong understanding of Document DB and Sql Server databases.
Familiarity with AG Grid for interactive web applications.
Strong proficiency in Angular and core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,and TypeScript
Understanding of RxJS and reactive programming principles.
Expertise in building responsive, cross-browser-compatible web applications.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and deployment best practices.
Familiarity with AWS services like SQS, S3, SNS.
Experience working with Front End Architecture – Monolithic, Micro-Frontend.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend
Services
Excellent communication, teamwork abilities and proven abilities to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira.
