Our transformation requires a series of efforts across HR space. Over the next few years, you will have the opportunity to lead our most important transformation programs. At the start of your journey, you will focus on talent management solutions related to Career Development, Staffing and Mobility of our teams. You will begin with focusing on transforming the solution for Career Development. Career Development is at the core of BCG Purpose which is \u201CUnlocking the Potential of those who advance the world\u201D. You will jointly lead the transformation program with our functional experts and be responsible for delivering a world class, modern tech enabled career development solution for our consulting staff.

We are seeking a senior technology leader to bring our Digital Products vision to reality in partnership with BCG\u2019s Career Development team.\u202FAs a technology leader, you will act as a pioneer, thought leader, problem solver, and be sought out for your expertise by product teams, enabling them to go faster, safely, and prevent solutions that are hard to change and stifle innovation. You will be accountable for delivering the technology roadmap, architecture, design, development and implementation of the solution. You will bring industry best practices and hands-on expertise to design and implement secure, performant and scalable solutions. You will lead a group of engineers and architects embedded in the Digital Products team and be responsible for their growth, up-skilling and ongoing development. You will work closely with several technology teams to align to an enterprise vision for IT services across BCG\u2019s internal business functions.

Partnering with the Talent Product Team Lead and Career Development Transformation Program/other Program team(s) to define roadmaps and priorities for the technology portfolioManage the end-to-end technical delivery across all phases/lifecycle of product/program roadmapsSteering the Career Development transformation/other program(s), managing and delivering on the program plan in close collaboration with functional stakeholders, architects, development teamsWorking closely with key stakeholders to understand business problems and surfacing technology options to address those problems \u2013 including experimenting with emerging technologiesApplying Agile software development methodologies and principles, including work estimation techniques, TDD, BDD etc.Overseeing technical architecture, tooling, platforms & systems in coordination with Enterprise Architecture, and ensuring compliance with standards and guardrailsUnderstanding the Data and Integrations landscape and partnering with expert teams and stakeholders to drive enterprise level integration, reporting and analytics requirementsCollaborate with other enterprise teams on UX design, security best practices, cloud and platform engineeringCoaching the team of engineers, technical specialists, and architects -- and introducing new technologies and practices as neededLeading technical analysis of custom-built applications, estimatingDriving release management and automation best practicesEnsuring proper root cause analysis and remediation is executed during any incidents or outagesWorking with vendors to augment team capacity and knowledge

What You'll Bring

BA/MS degree in computer or information sciences or similar field\u202F15+ years of relevant experience in delivering large scale IT Transformation initiatives, preferably in large international organizationsLeadership of technical teams and vendors during large implementation programs with hands-on roles around program management and leadershipHands-on technology development and implementation experienceExperience in agile development environments with all aspects of SDLC with globally distributed teamsAbility to lead/perform software development, as well as make architectural recommendations pertinent to business needs and related dependenciesGood understanding of security best practices from development and deployment perspectiveStrong technical competence, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and technologiesFlexibility and entrepreneurial spirit to adapt easily to changing requirements and prioritiesExperience leading and developing solutions across a varied technology stack including:Object-Oriented design SOLID principles and modern design patternsFull stack development experience including Front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular & ReactDatabases and EDW technology like SnowflakeSOA & Microservices architecture implementation using REST APIs, queue-based messaging patterns, exposure to Mulesoft/Kong is a plusOn-premise/cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards\u202FSoftware delivery including CI/CD and related DevSecOps practices, working with cloud based platforms such as Azure or AWS (preferred)\u202FExperience working on AI/Gen AI implementations and underlying architecture and modelsApplication testing, automation and performance testing toolsWorking knowledge of Agile Scrum
