What You'll Do

The Finance and Procurement Product Portfolio plays a critical role at the intersection of BCG’s

Global Finance and IT functions. Its purpose is to deliver best-in-class financial systems that

enable the organization to transact efficiently and responsibly, capture, enrich, and report core

financial data to BCG’s business leaders, and comply with the complex fiscal requirements of a

multinational organization. The portfolio also ensures that its platforms provide exceptional user

experience, aligns with BCG’s global IT enterprise architecture and security standards, and

minimizes the total cost of operations. It embraces the latest technologies and Agile ways of

working to enhance financial systems and deliver business value at scale.

 

BCG’s global finance function is undergoing a major transformation, with technology serving as

a core enabler. A key part of this transformation is the deployment of SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud as the firm’s global ERP platform. This new platform creates exciting opportunities in Global IT Analyst Manager – Finance . In this role, you will work closely with the global finance organization to drive an efficient period-end close through continuous improvement, further expansion of SAP capabilities, increased automation, and the use of cutting-edge technologies such as generative AI. You will ensure the accounting transactions are recorded correctly in system, maintain system configurations with recent business and functional changes.

 

To deliver results, you will collaborate with stakeholders, including functional Business Process Owners, to understand business priorities, help them translate them into a product roadmap, prioritize a backlog of enhancements, and build business cases for potential improvement. Leveraging your expertise in finance, accounting, and SAP, and following Agile principles, you will break down enhancements into meaningful segments of work for your squad to deliver and will track progress toward the desired outcomes.



What You'll Bring

Experience as Finance System ManagerFinance Domain experience with Engineering/Technical background Or a Master’s/MBA finance & accounting6-8yrs experience in SAP ERP or SAP S/4 HanaTechnical and Functional expertise in understanding Finance functional data flowsA very professional communication and stakeholder management skillsCertification in SAP ERP or Products would be preferred.

Key Responsibility Areas

Production support of SAP Financials (SAP S/4 Hana, Public Cloud) with focus on FI modules within SAPDevelop detailed understanding of the SAP Financials solution handed over by system integration partner and build capability to manage system configurations.Problem Solving attitude and should be capable of performing detailed analysis for complexbusiness problems and provide appropriate solutions to stakeholdersIdentify, Interpret, validate functional specification shared by product development team and create support modelConduct sessions with customer to understand the system problems and design requirementgaps document those for product owners to fix and deliver them to end userSystem defects should have experience working with SAP to initiate OSS Cases/Incidents as required escalate and get the hot fixes deployed as neededTesting and Release of upgrade related changes in SAP S4 Hana system landscape and align impact of changes on the functional process with process/technical ownersUnderstanding about Agile concept of Project DeliveryParticipate in transformation meetings as we go-live in other marketsDevelop Subject Matter Expertise and create knowledge support documentation for mentoring to other team members.

Functional & Technical Expertise

Experienced profession with at least 6-8yrs experience on SAP FI practiceExpert understanding of various components within the Financial Accounting (FI) module such as General Ledger (FI-GL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Intercompany, and Enterprise Structure as well as their integration with other SAP Modules like SD, AP would be added advantage.Expertise in managing the Month End period close activities with global finance functionExecute and deploy necessary system configuration changes in SAP as per the businessrequirementsTrouble shooting application jobs and fixing system issuesDeep understanding of the Business Partner concept, Bank Account Management, Cash Position and Cash Flow AnalysisExperience working on FIORI apps, S/4 HANA preferredCertification in SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting is desired
