Global Investment Research From macroeconomic forecasts to individual stock analysis, our team develops tools and insights to help shape investment strategies for clients and the firm. Our analysts work on client-focused research in the equity, fixed-income, currency, and commodities markets, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. You’ll be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing market research. Responsibilities Support stakeholder diary management, including the management of complex calendars across multiple time zonesArrange stakeholder travel; organize and provide detailed travel schedules and process related expenses in a timely manner. Be the main contact for expense questionsStakeholders are a handful of investment research professionals ranging from Vice Presidents and Managing Directors based in Singapore and the rest of the Asia locations Coordination of internal and external meetings and all logistics, including booking of conference rooms, guest registration, ensuring materials are organizedGeneral team admin including phone answering and relaying messages, photocopying/scanning/printing, participation in ad-hoc projects, and planning team eventsAssist with various marketing and client engagement initiativesAdhering to Compliance regulations and gaining the relevant approvalsRegularly facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and ensure relevant information is disseminated accordinglyAct as an integral member of the team; maintaining a high level of awareness of current priorities and support requiredFlexibility to support assistant colleagues and cover when necessaryHelp with ad-hoc requests from Global Investment Research professionals
Required Skills Prior experience as an assistant – preferably 3-5 years and ideally from a banking, financial services or corporate backgroundHighly motivated team player with a positive “can do” attitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to display a consistent, professional degree of written and verbal communicationStrong attention to detailMaintains a positive attitude and a customer service orientationProactivity with excellent organisational and problem solving skills - ability to take initiative, follow up where necessary without prompting and seek clarification when neededAbility to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environmentHas the ability to take on multiple and varied projectsDemonstrates high degree of integrity and recognises the need for confidentialityComfortable working with people at all levels across the organisationStrong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
