Summary of Position The Global Immigration intern will support core immigration operations, including case initiation, document management, I‑9/E‑Verify assistance, meeting participation, and various ad hoc projects. Intern Duties & Responsibilities + Support the Export Control process, including coordination and communication with designated contacts; update new trade compliance requests in the tracker; monitor progress throughout the review cycle; and provide timely status updates to outside counsel and the immigration team regarding outcomes of the export control review. + Initiate immigration cases with the external law firm, ensuring all case setups are completed accurately and within required timeframes. + Attend and contribute to bi‑weekly and monthly immigration meetings with outside counsel to ensure coordination on active and upcoming matters. + Provide I‑9 and E‑Verify support as needed, ensuring full compliance with employment‑verification requirements and assisting with I‑9‑related projects. + Save emails, USCIS notices, and immigration documents in the appropriate employee immigration folders, ensuring all files are organized and uploaded within required timelines. + Assist with special ad hoc immigration projects as assigned, contributing to overall team efficiency and continuous process improvement. + Support global immigration needs across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, assisting with regional projects as needed. Qualifications + Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior + Major(s): Human Resources (HR or HR Management), Business Administration, International Relations / International Studies, Legal Studies / Pre‑ Law, or Public Policy + GPA: Min 3.0 + Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 18, 2026 – Aug 7, 2026. + Technical Skills: Competent in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. + Workday, SharePoint, Power BI, and/or Kiteworks are a plus + Prior internship experience is ideal. + Effective Communication. + Self-starter – Ability to drive work with minimal oversight. + Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience.
