Global Health Lead (m/f/d) 

 

As the Global Health Lead, you will spearhead global health and Global South policy initiatives, supporting cell and gene therapy policies. Your role is critical in raising awareness of political and legislative developments impacting the Pharma Business, identifying policy priorities, and crafting strategic recommendations. You will establish and align pharma policy priorities with Bayer Pharma business functions and Bayer AG Public Affairs, ensuring coordinated external outreach activities.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Lead Global Health/Global South policy and develop a complementary Public Affairs strategy for family planning and access to Bayer's broader portfolioSupport Global Cell and Gene Therapies (CGT) policy in first wave marketsRaise awareness and identify risks of political and legislative developments relevant to Pharma Business, developing strategic recommendations and guidance on policy activitiesEstablish and align pharma policy priorities with Bayer Pharma business functions and Bayer AG Public Affairs, coordinating with PH policy colleagues in key marketsProvide strategic and operational support to Bayer Pharma Senior Management, leveraging engagement in trade associations and preparing for delegation visits and political outreach activitiesManage projects with sole responsibilityFoster internal and external relationships with political stakeholders, trade associations, and global institutions

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Successfully completed university degree or comparable education, preferably in politics, economics, or lawLong-term experience in Public Affairs or related leadership roles, with direct experience working with government representatives and global health institutions in the Global SouthPrior experience with assignments abroad is an advantageKnowledge of political processes at the international levelStrong team and communication skillsAdvanced egotiation skills in English
