Job DescriptionLead and oversee global accounting operations, including financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end close processes.Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements.Develop and implement scalable accounting policies, procedures, and controls across all entities.Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audits across jurisdictions.Drive automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to support strategic initiatives and transactions.Provide technical accounting guidance on complex matters including M&A, revenue recognition, and intercompany arrangements.Monitor and manage accounting risks, ensuring robust internal controls and governance.Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global accounting team.Support board-level reporting and investor relations with accurate and timely financial data.The Successful ApplicantCPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification.Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in global organizations.Deep expertise in IFRS and multi-entity consolidation.Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, ideally within fintech or technology sectors.Proven track record of leading global teams and managing cross-border accounting operations.Strong systems knowledge, including ERP implementation and automation tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.What's on OfferJoining our client means being part of a purpose-driven company that values innovation, agility, and collaboration.
