Global Financial Systems Specialist
The Financial Systems Specialist serves as a key liaison between Finance and Technology, ensuring the optimal performance, configuration, and utilization of Oracle Financial systems. This role is responsible for maintaining system integrity, supporting financial processes, and driving continuous improvement through technology. By leveraging deep expertise in key back office Financial Systems, including Oracle Financials Suite (Oracle Cloud Fusion, ERP & PBCS) Workiva, DFIN, etc., the specialist enables accurate financial reporting, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with internal and external requirements. The role also supports strategic initiatives such as system upgrades, automation, and integration projects, contributing to the overall effectiveness and scalability of the organization’s financial operations. **How You’ll Make an Impact as a Financial Systems Specialist** · Supporting the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Financials modules, with a focus on the General Ledger (GL) system to ensure accurate journal processing, account structure integrity, and financial close efficiency. · Provide day-to-day administration and support for other key back office financial systems, including Workiva, DFIN, Co-Star leasing system, including access and system maintenance · Acting as a bridge between the GL system, consolidation platform, and FP&A tools, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment across financial reporting and planning processes. · Partnering with Finance, IT, and other functions to troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data integrity. · Maintaining financial system controls to support compliance, audit readiness, and data integrity across financial transactions and reporting. · Leading or contributing to financial system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives that improve process efficiency and scalability. · Developing and maintaining documentation for system processes, configurations, and controls to support audit readiness and compliance. · Providing end-user support and training to ensure effective system utilization across Finance and related teams, including developing user guides and training materials · Reviewing and monitoring user access controls across all financial systems to ensure appropriate segregation of duties, role-based access, and compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. · Collaborating on cross-functional projects to align system capabilities with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements. · Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives that enhance reporting, reconciliation, and transaction processing. · Gaining exposure to enterprise-level financial systems, project management methodologies, and emerging technologies in financial automation. Building relationships across departments and developing a deep understanding of how technology supports strategic financial goals Requirements: _·_ _Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field_ _·_ _Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial accounting systems, with a strong focus on Oracle Financials (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle PBCS), Workiva, DFIN, Leasing systems._ _·_ _Oracle ERP Expertise: Deep understanding of Oracle Financials modules and their configuration, functionality, and integration points_ _·_ _Systems Analysis & Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions._ _·_ _Project Management: Experience managing or supporting system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives._ _·_ _Change Management: Comfortable navigating change, training users, and supporting adoption of new processes or technologies._ **_We also look for individuals with these capabilities:_** _·_ _Oracle certifications_ _·_ _Knowledge of automation tools and GenAI/prompting_ _·_ _Experience working in multi-entity or global environments with complex financial structures_ _·_ _Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks_ ManpowerGroup is proud to be an equal opportunity affirmative action workplace.
