Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute global manufacturing strategies in alignment with corporate and product line objectives, including oversight of COGM, budget planning, and CapEx initiatives. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Line Leaders, Engineering, and Corporate Strategy teams to align priorities and deliver operational outcomes that meet business goals. 

Operational Excellence: Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and value stream methodologies to improve efficiency, standardize processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. 

New Product Integration: Guide the development engineering team in implementing effective manufacturing strategies to support new product introductions and standardization. 

Asset Optimization: Ensure efficient use of all manufacturing assets in accordance with the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) strategy; collaborate with facilities leaders to maintain equipment and infrastructure. 

Talent Development: Establish performance expectations, conduct formal performance reviews, and support the growth and cross-training of team members across global sites. 

Production Planning: Collaborate with the IBP team to ensure alignment between production capabilities and market demand, including resource planning for labor, tooling, and equipment. 

Knowledge Sharing: Actively share best practices across manufacturing sites to drive consistency and continuous improvement globally. 

 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering or a related technical discipline 

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations and/or new product development, with a strong understanding of production, planning, quality, engineering, and lean supply chain principles 

At least 7 years of people management experience with demonstrated success in developing high-performing teams 

Previous experience supporting or leading within a product line structure, with a clear understanding of product lifecycle management, cross-functional alignment, and market-driven manufacturing strategies.  Preferred experience in thermoplastic molding techniques, and more specifically compression molding and machining  

Proficiency in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Green Belt certification preferred) 

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage change, and align teams around a shared strategic vision 

Strong analytical and project management skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
