Global Education Specialist

If you are a Training and Development professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Boulder, CO location, you will create innovative and engaging classroom, online, and virtual education programs by partnering with subject matter experts across the organization. You will be responsible for implementing education programs and managing training completions in our learning management systems.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, subject matter experts, and instructors. Create, organize, plan, and implement technical and skills training for employees and customers. Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Minimum three (3) years of related experience Proven ability to design and implement effective training and development Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software. Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or technical field preferred Experience with Articulate 360 suite, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. Strong interest and ability to work with engineering and scientific training materials.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $71,000-94,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
