Job Description
The Front-end Developer within the Global Digital Marketing Experience (GDMX) organization builds and maintains high-quality, responsive, and accessible web experiences.
You will focus on implementing modern front-end technologies and frameworks to deliver engaging user interfaces across FiixSoftware, Plex, SprecherSchuh, and RockwellAutomation.
You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end developers teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
You will report to the Global DMX Leader.
You will work hybrid in Barcelona, Spain.
Your Responsibilities:Develop responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.Implement designs from UI/UX teams into functional, scalable components.Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Work with designers, back-end developers, QA, and product owners to deliver cohesive digital experiences.Participate in code reviews and help maintain high-quality coding standards.Stay current with latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.Contribute to the evolution of the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across platforms.Implement coding for accessibility (WCAG compliance) and SEO best practices.Use version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and follow established development workflows.The Essentials - You Will Have:BS/BA in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in front-end web development.Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/LESS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React and Angular.The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Understanding of responsive design and browser support for modern web technologies.Experience with content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress).Familiarity with tag management tools (Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager).Knowledge of CDN technologies (Akamai) and cookie compliance platforms (OneTrust).Proficiency with version control and code management applications such as GitHub.Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
