Responsibilities The Opportunity Develop and support Analytical tools for use by Sector/BU teams which facilitate root-cause-analysis and resolution, thereby improving business performance. Responsibilities include Engaging and partnering effectively with Sector ISCP COE teams to ensure optimal usage of the ISCP template tools in PFNA, PBNA, AMESA, APAC, LATAM & EUR sectors, to drive Fill Rate, Inventory and Productivity benefits. This role will engage in regular consultation with the Business unit teams and other GCC leaders. This position establishes policies and procedures that enable high-service delivery and reflect industry best practices. System knowledge and enhancement will be expected, along with technical support from BU partners. Delivery of optimization and efficiency gains within the supply planning, demand planning, and transportation management teams, as well as best practice sharing between business units, is expected. Exceptional time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical for this role. This role will additionally require building critical relationships with key team members both internally within the sector, the Global SC team, and across Business Units. Your Impact As Global Director Planning/Modeling your scope would consist: Accountability to provide the following for all PFNA, PBNA, AMESA, APAC, LATAM & EUR markets deployed on the ISCP template: Statistical Demand Forecast Optimized Safety Stock (Finished Goods and Raw Materials) Optimized Production Plan for manufacturing plants Tactical Network Optimization Provide data and/or publish standardized Demand and Supply Planning KPIs for all functions mentioned above. Develop and support Analytical tools for use by Sector/BU teams which facilitate root-cause-analysis and resolution, thereby improving business performance. Engage and partner effectively with Sector ISCP COE teams to ensure optimal usage of the ISCP template tools (in the above-mentioned sectors) to drive Fill Rate, Inventory and Productivity benefits. Liaison with other projects and initiatives (such as Horizon, Prolink-II, DVC, IBP, etc.) to ensure business continuity Provide thought leadership to Global/Sector/BU teams for developing Horizon 3 strategies for advanced capabilities People Management: Lead, coach, and develop a team of highly technical ‘modelers’ Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Operations Management, Engineering or applicable degree required. MBA preferred Experience 10-15 years of Operations/Supply Chain experience preferred English Fluency both written and verbal required Understanding of Supply Chain systems, processes, and technical architecture Understanding of Manufacturing and Distribution Operations Project Leadership experience on complex Supply Chain projects Understanding of business processes associated with Supply Chain Planning Expertise in Supply Chain Planning technology and understanding of interdependencies associated with upstream/downstream systems. Deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the Blue Yonder platforms Substantial understanding of statistics, algorithms, objective function optimizations (mixed integer programming), and data management. Ability to lead an organization through significant change in process and technology within a fast-paced, cross-functional, matrix environment Can ensure technical standards, methodologies, and strategies are followed Ability to facilitate the resolution of highly complex problems Can translate business needs into solution design Able to develop effective partnerships with business operations leads, Sector COE teams and IT Ability to direct technical resources Provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members High level of business acumen, organizational savvy, and the ability to manage ambiguity If this is an opportunity that interests you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet 100% of the requirements.
