The Global Data Platform Product Owner is responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of global Enterprise Data Management and Enterprise Data Lakehouse capabilities. Operating within a product-based organization model, this role collaborates with engineering squads, data governance teams, architects, Information Security team and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale, secure, high-performing data platforms. This role is essential in advancing the organization's Data & AI ambitions, ensuring the availability of trusted, governed, discoverable, AI and analytics-ready data across all business domains.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Platforms, Data Management, and Product Ownership rolesProven experience with Databricks , AWS cloud data platformsStrong understanding of governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, semantic models, and MDMHands-on experience with Atlan, Talend, Experian, SAP Power Designer, Montecarlo, IBM/Informatica data management capabilities, or similar technologiesDemonstrated success delivering cross-functional, global data productsStrong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skillsExperienced working within Agile, product-based operating models

 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of graph technologies or semantic modelsCertifications in Product Ownership, Data Governance, or AgileExperience in large-scale or regulated global enterprise environments

Enterprise Data Lakehouse (Databricks)

Lead the evolution of the enterprise Lakehouse platformManage ingestion, curation, governance, and consumption capabilitiesOversee adoption of Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, advanced governance, and automation patternsPartner with Data Intelligence Product team to support AI and analytics use cases with required Data Lakehouse capabilities

Delivery & Execution

Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and product delivery with engineering squadsEnsure high-quality, secure, reliable platform operationsCollaborate with architects to define standards, integration patterns, and long-term platform evolutionEnsure compliance with global data governance, regulatory, and security standards

Stakeholder Engagement
