Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and drive our global Crisis Management and Resilience programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in risk, compliance, and crisis leadership, capable of influencing across a matrixed organization and engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Provide strong leadership and direction by setting clear objectives and priorities across the Crisis Management disciplines. Have accountability for the tactical implementation of Crisis Management Frameworks/ management systems ensuring that the implementations are in line with the business objectives and its risk appetite.Ensure there is appropriate change management, training and communication activities ensuring adequate business involvement, ensuring long term sustainability and continuous improvement.Deputise for the Global Safety, BCM, & Security Executive when and where required.

 

Crisis Management:

Play a key leadership role in the organisational response to major incidents and disruptive events.Coordinate regional Crisis Management efforts to ensure consistency of engagement / escalation across all areas of the business (internal and external facing Implement an incident and Crisis Management Framework that caters for bronze (country), silver (region) and gold (global) response structures. Ensure global Crisis Management capability (e.g., in the form of a community of trained and competent Crisis Managers).

Experience10+ years of experience in risk and compliance, with a strong foundation in regulatory frameworks and governance.10+ years of hands-on experience managing and driving Crisis Management (CM) programs at a global or regional level.Proven track record in incident and crisis management at a senior leadership level.Demonstrated leadership capabilities in strategy development, change management, stakeholder influence, and executive communication.Experience working effectively in matrixed environments and cross-functional teams.Familiarity with external certification bodies and regulatory engagement.Skills and KnowledgeStrong ability to design, implement, and support global resilience programs that align with business objectives.Skilled in influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships across internal and external networks.A highly effective leader with the ability to navigate complex environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.A proactive change agent, capable of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving transformation.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate direction and expectations both verbally and in writing.Demonstrated success in developing and coaching teams, with a passion for talent development and performance management.Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
