Videojet is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director, Global Controller to lead our global controllership, compliance, and financial reporting functions. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team—driving financial integrity, operational rigor, and process excellence across our worldwide operations.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to lead and influence teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
Global Financial Integrity
•Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX across all entities. Lead timely and accurate financial closings, consolidations, and reporting, including statutory and regulatory requirements.Controls & Audit Leadership
•Champion a strong internal control environment. Oversee all SOX, internal, and external audits—driving audit readiness, transparency, and remediation.Global Process Ownership
•Harmonize accounting policies, controls, and processes across geographies. Identify and lead initiatives to streamline operations, reduce manual work, and improve data integrity.Finance Transformation
•Drive the global finance transformation agenda—modernizing tools, digitizing workflows, and scaling automation across accounting, reporting, and control functions. Serve as a change agent for simplification, speed, and strategic enablement.Technical Accounting & Policy Governance
•Serve as the global subject matter expert on complex accounting topics. Partner with Corporate on interpretation and implementation of new standardsFinance Operations Oversight
•Direct month-end and year-end close processes globally, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Drive standardization through ERP and reporting tool optimization (SAP, HFM, OneStream).Business Partnership & Decision Support
•Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional leaders to support business initiatives, analyze trends, and provide financial insights that drive performance.M&A Support
•Lead accounting due diligence and post-acquisition integration. Ensure timely alignment of accounting processes and controls for acquired entities.Talent & Culture Leadership
•Build and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed controllership team. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and professional development.Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required, MBA preferred•15+ years of progressive finance and controllership experience in global, matrixed, and manufacturing environments•Strong command of US GAAP, SOX, and public company compliance•Proven experience leading shared service centers and optimizing cross-border processes•Knowledge of tax provisioning, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing•Hands-on expertise with SAP, Oracle, HFM, and/or OneStream•Demonstrated success driving finance transformation and digital enablement initiativesUS ONLY:
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $210,000 - $240,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
