We are looking for a Global Compensation Manager that defines, implements, and consolidates the company’s global compensation programs, policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, internal equity, and market competitiveness for Corporate and Grifols subsidiaries around the world.
What your responsibilities will be:
Salary bands and benchmarking Lead the annual salary band calculation, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market trends. Conduct market benchmarking and participate in salary surveys to maintain competitive pay structures Design salary structures tailored to different countries or business units. Merit process Management Design and manage the merit increase process ensuring transparency, fairness and budget control. Develop guidelines and tools for managers and HRBP’s to effectively conduct performance reviews and merit assessments. Monitor and analyze merit increase distribution to ensure equity and alignment with company policies. Promotions & Salary changes Lead and manage promotions & salary changes during the year. Provide recommendations for salary adjustments and increases based on performance and market data. Job evaluation Manage job evaluation based on Gradar methodology. Collaborate with HRBP’s to understand roles, responsibilities and expectations. Audit processes Lead and perform the internal audits based on SOX controls. Lead and perform the external audits. Budget Establish the annual budget for promotions and salary adjustments. Establish the annual Budget for the department. Control the real expenses vs budget and provide forecast during the year. Annual Gender Gap and local gender gap requirements. Lead and manage the annual gender gap for global remuneration report. Lead and manager the local gender gap requirements in different European countries. Data Reporting and KPI’s Design and manage compensation for KPI’s on BI and SAC systems. Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for leadership. Evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend improvements. Compensation Policies Develop and implement compensation policies aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Ensure all compensation practices comply with local labor laws and internal equity standards. Project Leadership: Coordinate and participate in global or regional projects related to compensation tools, processes, and systems. Strategic Support Provide guidance to HR on compensation-related decisions. Support talent attraction and retention strategies through competitive and equitable reward systems.

Education: University Degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics, Management or similar. Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position. Knowledge of compensation principles, practices and regulations. Experience in implementing or advance knowledge in a compensation evaluation system: Gradar highly valued, Mercer, WTW... Skills: Proficiency level in Spanish and English (Advanced C1). Proficient knowledge of MS-Office suite (Excel). SAP HR/other ERP. Competencies: Detail-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills. Result driven person and team player, able to collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve the objectives. Flexible to changing environment and eager to learn.
