Calling all coffee-obsessed creators: we’re on the hunt for our next Starbucks Global Coffee Creator. For one epic year, you’ll travel the world - think Milan, Tokyo, Colombia, Dubai, Costa Rica - and more capturing the vibes, culture, and people behind every Starbucks experience. Your mission? Help us show the world why Starbucks coffee hits different. If storytelling, travel, and coffee fuel your soul, this is your dream gig.  

Whether you’re abroad or working from home between trips, you’ll be posting content about the care behind our products and the details that go into serving the world’s finest coffee.

As a global coffee creator, you will…

Create authentic and engaging social content highlighting interesting, social-first stories focused on our global brand and product experiences.  Travel to 10-15 designated Starbucks locations around the world in a one-year timeframe.  Capture the local culture, community, and atmosphere surrounding each Starbucks location.  Highlight regional menu items and specialty drinks.  Interact with customers and baristas, sharing their stories and experiences.  Create/pitch ideas, edit and publish high-quality videos for Starbucks social channels.  Collaborate with the Starbucks global marketing team to align content with brand guidelines and marketing initiatives. 

We’d love to hear from people with:

Passion for coffee, travel and exploring diverse cultures.  Strong creativity and storytelling abilities.  Proficiency in creating and editing in social media formats such as TikTok and Instagram and experience with editing tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, CaptureOne, Premier, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.  Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills, with the ability to represent the brand and adhere to company policies and standards.  Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.  Comfortable being on camera and representing the brand.  Adaptability and a willingness to embrace new experiences.  A healthy knowledge of, and interest in, the Starbucks brand and its global community. 

Requirements: 

You must be at least 18 years old to apply and have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Must be a US resident.  No previous work experience or college diploma is required.  A valid passport, and ability to travel globally August 2025 through July 2026.  Must be able to travel frequently, work on location in varied environments and climates worldwide, and comply with any required travel vaccinations or health regulations.  Physical requirements include bending, lifting and carrying light content equipment, standing or moving for extended periods, and on-camera appearances, up to 25% of the time.  Tech savvy and can adapt to trends and technology throughout the assignment.  Aligns with Starbucks culture and brand guidelines.   Must adhere to Starbucks social media guidelines. 

 

What to Expect: 

This is a full-time 12-month temporary position.  This is a remote / virtual position where the creator can work from anywhere.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.  For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

 

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

 

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed.
