TITLE: Global Client Management Team Leader
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
DUTIES: • Lead and oversee a team that includes Enterprise Project Managers and support personnel to meet customer needs, achieve business targets, and fulfill operational objectives.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including commercial teams, site clinical/BioServices Client Services Team Leaders, logistics/transportation, quality, finance, and others to seamlessly execute project plans, while managing divisional complexities to meet customer expectations and maintain quality standards.Conduct the candidate screening process, interview, and provide hiring recommendations to the manager.Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable for achieving results, driving process improvements, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.Regularly meet with each team member to ensure clear expectations, provide coaching and feedback, and address any barriers to execution.Manage the Performance Management Development process, including goal setting, mid-year, and year-end performance reviews in alignment with company guidelines.Monitor and report on team performance, anticipating issues, escalating as necessary, and keeping the GCM Senior Manager informed.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and participate in initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness of the Client Services organization.Lead a project portfolio (with the number of projects depending on their complexity and team size), overseeing planning and delivery at all stages in coordination with the global Project Management team, guiding clients through the process from start to finish.Oversee budget management, headcount planning, and the tracking of business metrics, including performance and other relevant KPIs.Work closely with leadership to ensure global alignment on best practices, training, and procedural standards.Provide support for customer issues and escalations, championing the voice of the customer and fostering overall customer loyalty.Promote and lead a culture of proactive continuous process improvement.Duties can be performed remotely.TRAVEL: Work is 100 % remote. Travel required (up to 10-25%) International travel may also be required
REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering Management Operations or related field of study or foreign degree equivalent.
MINIMUM Experience Requirement: 3 years of experience as a Clinical Supply Chain Specialist, Technical Project Manager or related occupation.
Alternative Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering Management Operations or related field of study and 5 years of experience as a Clinical Supply Chain Specialist, Technical Project Manager, or a related occupation.
Required knowledge or experience with:
Field of clinical service management;Clinical Trial Division (CTD) Business;Clinical trials (technical operations, quality, regulatory) as well as CTD structure/sites and managing large, complex clinical trial projects;Understanding of business processes within CTD (contracts, proposals, financials);Knowledge of working under GMP regulations in pharmaceutical industry;Understanding of IRT (Interactive Response Technology) tools used in clinical supply chain;Global Project Management & stakeholder management;Experience in leading cross global project management team / collaborative leadership style;Experience in managing client relationships at governance level and solid negotiation skills;Coaching, mentoring and developing individual team members;Interfering with customers and internal stakeholders;Navigating a matrix organization;Program management; andConflict management and resolution risk management.
