We are seeking Global Chemical Substances GETC Focal to lead compliance and program initiatives across our Power & Controls business. This role ensures alignment with international chemical regulations while driving innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. **What You Will Do:** + Lead and coordinate compliance activities across Global Engineering & Technology Centers (GETCs) in support of business priorities, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure alignment with global standards. + Ensure compliance with international chemical regulations, including US EPA, EU/UK REACH, and other local requirements, in close partnership with Operations and EHS teams. + Oversee the integrity and integration of compliance data with Digital Technology strategies, leveraging Product Life Cycle (PLC) processes and tools. + Collaborate with engineering, suppliers, operations, repair, and customer teams to address chemical-related challenges and safeguard business continuity. + Support initiatives around green alternatives and sustainable solutions, reducing regulatory risk and supporting long-term innovation. + Develop and implement digital tools and standardized processes to streamline compliance reporting and audits. + Participate and support P&C in global meetings, providing leadership updates, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies to senior stakeholders. + Champion continuous improvement by advancing process maturity and CORE methodology across compliance-related activities. + Drive closure to customer inquiries and ensure timely reporting to meet product safety and compliance requirements. + Support part transitions via Work Transfers to ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and continuity of supply + Manage annual budgets for your assigned scope, working with leadership, GETC, and product teams to align resources and funding **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Typically requires a bachelor’s degree Engineering or a related technical discipline; an advanced degree is preferred. + Typically requires a minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience in engineering management, compliance, or technology-driven environments. + Proven track record of managing complex projects, including planning, execution, reporting, and risk management. + Experience leading cross-functional and geographically distributed teams within a matrix organization. + Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical detail and strategic priorities. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus. + Proficiency in compliance databases, digital reporting systems, Product Life Cycle (PLC) tools, and advanced MS Office functions. **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Demonstrated leadership skills in engineering management and initiatives, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders. + Strong knowledge or experience working global chemical regulations (e.g., REACH, EPA, PFAS) and their practical application within engineering and manufacturing contexts. + Experience in interfacing and building relationships with business partners. + Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable engineering initiatives. + Proven teamwork and collaboration capabilities in global environment **What we offer:** + Attractive salary, adequate to your skills + Possibility of continuous improvement of your qualifications + Private medical care + Life insurance + Multisport card + Retirement pension plan + Scholar Program + Company gym We make modern flights possible for millions of travelers and our military every second.
