For our Group Procurement department, we are looking for a Global Category Manager Power and Narural Gas (f/m/d).
You will support us to manage and optimize one of the most decisive and dynamic cost categories to secure the competitiveness of Heidelberg Materials. You will work in various energy market environments with all their different regulatory setup.
You will be located in the Headquarters of Heidelberg Materials in Heidelberg and report directly to the Team Lead Power and Natural Gas.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Be a key account for several countries when it comes to power and natural gas projects and portfolio management
For these countries push on cost saving and CO2 reduction projects such as renewable power projects, demand side management and manage the price risk including hedges according to our forward buying policy
Lead tender processes and final contract preparation for portfolio supply contracts and renewable energy projects
Provide and present market intelligence to the business lines for several energy markets globally
Prepare detailed analysis of energy costs of our sites and work on cost saving and renewable energy projects for different countries and energy market setups in international teams
YOUR PROFILE
University degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or similar
Previous work experience and knowledge in one/various energy markets
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Communication oriented and experiences talking to senior management
Ability to perform with autonomy and to operate in multicultural team and to work on multiple projects
Hands-on mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Familiar with Excel and setting up complex report calculations
