Job DescriptionDevelope global purchasing strategy for the respective category to ensure best prices, lean and efficient processes, availability on demand, and meeting the necessary quality standardsDrive best cost country and localization strategyCoordinate with related corporate functions in line with ContiTechs purchasing standardsManage global supplier portfolio incl. market analysisSteer selection of new suppliers in collaboration with R&D and develop suppliers to ensure timely sourcing, quality and competitivenessNegotiate frame agreementsCalculate and report all savings in respective tools (e.g., RAMPIT)Monitor market pricing and availability for key production materialsSupport/Manage task forces / projects and related risk analyses for the respective category, and taking necessary actions (e.g. in case of raw material shortages).Support price budgeting and demand forecasting

QualificationsDegree in economics, engineering, operations or related field (university / university of applied science)Professional experience in strategic raw material purchasing or comparable functionProfessional experience in working in an international acting company with a global purchasing networkGood negotiation and communication skills and analytical thinkingProven project management skillsFluent English language skills (written and spoken), further languages beneficialAbility to work independently as well as high level of self-motivation and teamworkHigh level of social & intercultural competenceWillingness to travel (circa 10-15%)
