This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join J.P. Morgan’s Equity Franchise Sales team in New York. The Equity Franchise Sales team is the distribution arm for equity and equity‑linked products within the CIB. The team delivers equity research and investment ideas, facilitates investor, corporate and analyst access, and markets equity issuance to its investor base.
This unique role on the team involves covering a large volume of smaller institutional clients in the US on cash equity and related products. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create bespoke, lightweight automated solutions that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Responsibility for a defined set of institutional accounts as their day‑to‑day point of contact. Keep clients informed about JPMorgan research and access opportunities using firm platforms and clear processes. Partner closely with Research, Corporate Access, Equity Capital Markets, Trading and other Sales teams to cover effectively.Job responsibilities:
Client Coverage Manage a defined set of institutional accounts; field inbound requests and coordinate responses with internal teams. Educate clients on how to self‑manage their consumption of JPM content and access. Research Access Coordinate research interactions in line with desk policies. Corporate Access and events Coordinate event marketing and attendance with the Corporate Access team. Signals and Reporting Use internal dashboards to monitor client engagement and revenue trends; produce concise updates for desk leadership on what’s working and where to adjust. Operational follow‑through Work with onboarding/KYC and middle/back office partners to move requests forward; use standard templates; keep stakeholders informed on status. Process improvement Spot repetitive work; propose and prototype simple fixes (e.g., Excel/Power Query, basic Python/SQL where appropriate); help document playbooks so the process scales to the broader salesforce. Governance Maintain accurate records in approved systems; follow information barriers, licensing and communications policies at all times.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
5+ years of institutional sales or client‑facing markets experience (equities or adjacent). Knowledge of global markets; strong written and verbal communication with senior‑level comfort. High attention to detail and organization; able to manage multiple threads and follow through. Team player who can collaborate well across Research, Equity Capital Markets, Corporate Access, Trading and Sales. Tool proficiency: Bloomberg; Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, lookups), PowerPoint and Outlook; familiarity with modern LLM tools.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query; basic VBA). Series 7 & 63 preferred (or ability to obtain promptly). Ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications and prototype simple automations independently (e.g., in Excel, Python or SQL). Qlik Sense dashboard use/build experience. Basic Python or SQL for data manipulation and simple automation prototypes.
