Global Benefits Principal Data & Analytics Consultant
Global Benefits Principal Data & Analytics Consultant Amsterdam | 38.75 hours per week Are you ready to own the future of global benefits analytics? As Aon’s Global Benefits analytics capabilities expand it is critical to have resources within our key regions that can directly support sales and consulting projects with our major multinational clients as well as support delivery of our growing suite of standard solutions. The Principal Consultant will play a key role in a variety of Global Benefits Management and / or other Global Benefits sales situations where D&A is a component / core to the proposition and will be comfortable in client sales meetings and responding to RFPs either on a standalone basis or as part of a wider cross-functional team. The Principal Consultant will take ownership for the delivery of key D&A projects within the region working closely with the global D&A community and SMEs to ensure best-in-class outcomes for our clients. They will also work closely with the existing GB (or wider human capital) team that support the client on these projects where applicable. They will also serve as a first point of contact for GB teams wishing to onboard their clients into our various analytics offerings and / or for any questions teams have about our GB D&A solutions and how to best leverage these for client servicing. The Principal Consultant will also have a significant influence on our overall global D&A proposition and will ensure that new solutions and products are developed with regional client needs in mind. As new products and solutions are launched the regional D&A lead will work with the global D&A community to providing training and support to colleagues and clients across the region and will play an integral part in our D&A client forums. What the day will look like As the Global Benefits Principal Data & Analytics Consultant, you will: + Lead the Data & Analytics (D&A) component of broad global benefits sales opportunities, including written responses and active participation in sales meetings (e.g., delivering demos). + Drive standalone D&A opportunities, from early-stage prospect meetings through to pricing decisions and contracting, with support from the global D&A community. + Influence sales and marketing collateral related to our D&A proposition and support thought leadership and marketing events. + Train Global Benefit team members to deliver D&A solutions and facilitate knowledge sharing for continual process improvement. + Play a leading role in delivering key D&A projects, working with client teams, analytics teams, and junior colleagues, either independently or as part of larger initiatives. + Support the development and scaling of template deliverables for core D&A projects, including onboarding and delivery of standard analytic suite solutions (e.g., Claims Analytics, Analytics Hub). + Actively participate in working groups and SME forums to develop solutions that meet client needs and align our development roadmap to client requirements. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Demonstrated expertise in global benefits or related consulting, specializing in data and analytics initiatives and bringing to bear digital, online-first solutions. + Strong analytical skills and experience working with and reviewing data sets for abnormalities, with keen attention to detail. + Extensive experience delivering consulting projects from initial scoping to final delivery and client acceptance. + Significant experience in sales opportunities, including written submissions, face-to-face meetings, technology demos, and commercial negotiations. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across business functions to ensure best-in-class client outcomes. + Critical thinking skills to anticipate future client needs and help build differentiated, profitable solutions. + Willingness to work in major Aon GB office locations at least 3 days a week and travel within the region as needed. + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
