The Global Benefits Manager is a strategic role responsible for leading the design, governance, and execution of global benefits programs. Acting as a bridge between global strategy and regional execution, this role partners closely with Regional Total Rewards Managers to ensure alignment, consistency, and local relevance. The manager oversees global benefits operations, vendor management, wellbeing initiatives, and retirement governance, contributing to a competitive and compliant Total Rewards offering worldwide.
**Strategic Alignment & Partnership**
+ Partner with Regional Total Rewards Managers to translate global strategy into regional execution.
+ Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing across geographies.
+ Ensure alignment between global objectives and local market practices.
**Benefits Strategy & Program Management**
+ Develop and implement global benefits strategies, including health, wellness, retirement, and insurance.
+ Lead global pooling initiatives to optimize cost and coverage.
+ Oversee global wellbeing programs and drive employee engagement.
+ Manage global broker relationships and ensure service excellence.
**Governance & Compliance**
+ Ensure retirement plan governance and control across all regions.
+ Monitor regulatory changes and ensure benefits programs remain compliant.
+ Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate risks.
**Operations & Analytics**
+ Own the global benefits dashboard and reporting, providing insights to leadership.
+ Support HR Shared Services and Procurement team on the payments processes including purchase orders (POs), invoices, and vendor billing, .
+ Support budgeting and forecasting for global benefits programs.
**Employee Experience & Communication**
+ Develop global communication strategies to promote understanding and utilization of benefits.
+ Support regional teams in tailoring communications to local audiences while maintaining global consistency.
**Project Leadership**
+ Lead or support global initiatives such as M&A integration, benefits harmonization, and digitalization of benefits processes.
+ Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, employee feedback, and industry trends. **Required Skills:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or certification.
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in benefits management, with significant exposure to global or regional roles.
+ Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence across geographies.
+ Strong understanding of international benefits practices and regulatory environments.
+ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
+ Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
+ Experience with Workday or other global HRIS platforms.
+ Strong analytical skills and experience with dashboard/reporting tools. Excel SME (PowerBI a plus).
+ Ability to navigate complexity and drive alignment in a matrixed organization.
