Job Duties: Associate, Project Management with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Engage in and assist with leading the design and implementation of solutions to influence and drive the team to deliver complex projects. Work independently with Agile methodologies and governance tools to ensure the implementations of strategic cross divisional initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and are high quality. Build complex solutions and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision through coordination across divisions with project sponsors and senior stakeholders. Monitor and oversee the remediation of risks raised and escalate project risks to senior partners as needed. Own relationships with stakeholders and sponsors and identify and remove impediments at program level. Work with product owners to build the strategic vision and refine the backlog of demand. Define quality assurance and design testing approaches for the team. Provide transparency and progress of projects, issues, timelines, and budgets by running governance forums with senior leadership.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: Business and process analyses for operations and engineering related workflow, goals and metrics; working with project scope definition, identifying cross functional project issues, challenges, risks, status reporting and User Acceptance Test execution; driving the timely and on-budget delivery of strategic projects including operations and technology related initiatives in a cross functional team setting; working with non-Scrum flavors of Agile, including Kanban and Lean; and project management frameworks including responsibility assignment (RACI) matrix, 2x2s, and RAID Logs.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York-based position is $83,000 – $122,000.
